What To Know About The HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Printer And HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Compatible Toner
Categories: Other News.
The HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP printer using Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP ink and toner is Hewlett-Packard’s lowest-priced multifunction printer, though it certainly doesn’t deliver low-rated features or functions. In actuality, it’s print results are probably close to being print shop quality. It is able to take on most tasks and finish them with a speed and accuracy not usually seen in many printers — let alone multifunction printers — in this price range.
This excellent print quality comes, though, at somewhat of a trade-off, which is something that most multifunction printers ask a user to accept. To get good print quality, one will have to be comfortable with a print speed rate of about 12 pages per minute for black and white and eight pages for color. It’s no speed demon but most users looking for multifunction printers probably wouldn’t care.
Print resolution in both black-and-white and color is more than fine, coming in as it does at 600 dots per inch resolution. Everything that emerges will look sharp, clean and clear and there will be little if any problem ever presented due to smearing or smudging. As a copier, it is able to enlarge documents up to 400% or shrink them down to 25% of original size as well. For best results, print with HP Color LaserJet cartridge.
From the time the print job is sent to the 1312 until the time the first copy emerges is about 25 seconds for a black-and-white about 31 seconds for a color copy. This isn’t exactly quick, but it’s print quality will be uniformly excellent, which is probably what Hewlett-Packard intended for it to do by slowing down its production until the machine could produce something excellent across-the-board.
Keep in mind that this is a multi-function printer, meaning that also can scan, copy and print. As a compromise, when it comes to doing all three functions, this particular Hewlett-Packard LaserJet-type machine does it all very well, especially when one considers its low price. It can scan at 1200×1200 dots per inch resolution, which will deliver extremely sharp documents when final rendering is completed.
Onboard memory within the 1312 is 120 MB of RAM, and there’s no way to upgrade that. This isn’t a problem, though, because just about every multifunction printer sold by Hewlett-Packard or other manufacturers comes in right at about the same memory capacity. It’s also easy enough to hook this printer up to a PC or Mac through its included high-speed USB port.
Durability with the 1312 is excellent, and it has a monthly maximum duty cycle of around 30,000 impressions. This means that the 1312 will be able to copy or print up to 30,000 sheets of paper before it will need any sort of maintenance. Additionally, it can hold about 150 sheets of paper within its tray and will be able to print out on the wide variety of stock such as transparencies and envelopes. It runs off of a number of different Windows or Mac operating systems as well.
The HP Color LaserJet CM1312 Mfp printer seems to do almost everything it’s asked to do with a nice amount of competence. It will run about $350 for a nice unit and it will be sure to keep the owner of any small office or home office business happy with its results. It’s not the fastest multifunction printer, but that’s not really the purpose of such models. It will be a durable and high-quality machine, which is actually its intended role. After you get it, keep in mind that the best deals on HP toner are found online. However, you can also buy HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP toner cartridge in stores if you desire. HP Color LaserJet printer toners is the ink that the printer uses to print. Just make sure to have enough laser toner cartridge on hand!
