Begin a PLR Blog

You understand that having a blog adds value to your company’s website, but maybe you aren’t a prolific writer or don’t have the time.

Yet is a way to achieve the benefits of a blog without the large time commitment. You can purchase a set (or multiple sets) of Private Label Rights (PLR) articles to utilize as your blog posts. Obviously you are going to want to find PLR articles that will fit in with your niche and marketing goals but that shouldn’t be hard to do. The topics covered by PLR articles are almost limitless.

Once you have discovered and bought a set of PLR articles, do not post them immediately. The trick of a blog is to post good quality content on a fairly regular basis. You will have to decide (based on time and the number of articles you have available) how often each week is regular. You may decide to post three times a week or only once, either is fine as long as you stick with it. Once you have attracted a group of regular readers, they will continue to read your blog as long as there is interesting posts to read.

You will want to personalize and change every PLR article before posting it, for two reasons. The 1st is to ensure you are posting original content. PLR articles must be be changed and ideally you want your blog to be picked up by the search engines - in order for this to happen you should change 20-50% of the article to make it new. The 2nd reason to re-write the PLR article is to ensure it is blog friendly. As a rule blog posts are conversational in tone and not all PLR articles are. This is not a hard task. The research and idea is already there, therefore just re-write it in a more conversational tone.

If you do not want to use PLR as the sole source of your blog posts, they are still a easy way to post on days or weeks when you don’t have as much time or will be away.
