The trials reviewed included randomized controlled trials, controlled psychotherapy trials and placebo-controlled pharmacotherapy trials. And what was found: NONE of the Psychiatric Drugs could prove ANY EVIDENCE of effectiveness.

Help! Need to repair vintage Fanatic 320 windsurfer mast foot

I have this Fanatic 320 windsurf board (ok, ok, I admit, vintage stuff),

which has this kind of sliding contraption to hold the mast foot…

but just a few days ago my mast foot broke apart like shown here:

and here …  Aaargh

Does anyone have a suggestion what I can do? Are these parts still available anywhere? Can I just one of these new rubber-mast-feet and somehow screw it on top of the this contraption?

He caught a lot of critics for his criticism of psych-drug treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

But HERE IS THE KICKER:

There is no evidence that drug treatments or the majority of non-drug treatments work on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), according to a major review of the medical literature on the topic.

A committee of the Institute of Medicine reviewed the literature on PTSD treatments upon the request of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Initially, the committee identified 2,771 studies, but eventually reviewed only 90 of these. The trials reviewed included randomized controlled trials, controlled psychotherapy trials and placebo-controlled pharmacotherapy trials.

Of the 90 studies, exposure therapy was the only treatment that was supported by evidence of its effectiveness. All other tested treatments had insufficient evidence to support them.

“These therapies may or may not be effective - we just don’t know in the absence of good data,” said committee chair Alfred O. Berg.

The biggest sales stopper for new online businesses is sales copy with problem. It could be as simple as the copy is boring. It doesn’t grab the reader or give them an incentive to read past the headline. Have your friends and relatives read and test the sales copy, then tweak it and have them do it again. After you think it’s the best it can be and you have a stable system, test it from time to time and every time you make a change just to make sure it continues to work.

5. Build profits. Now that your business is online, up and running, build your product line. Focus on back-end products which are the ones that are not on the front page. Sell your current customers more stuff once they trust you. This is a warm market and really where your profits come from. New customers are cold; they hesitate, wonder if you will deliver a quality product for their money. Give them free stuff with their initial purchase so that they get to know you and your credibility grows.

6. Revisit all these steps periodically. The Internet is changing so rapidly, it’s hard to keep up with it. More than traditional businesses, you need to keep checking progress and revisiting goals to ensure your business is doing what it should be doing.

If all of this sounds like hard work, look at it this way: you won’t need to buy suits, commute to work or go to lunch with people you dislike. No more boring business meetings. Forget the voicemail! The keywords in the Google AdWords will come directly after the Ad Group. These are the words you would want the search engine to target. You can use three different techniques in order to make your keywords list:

Broad Match Keywords -

Here, the search engine targets the words that were entered by you, any words that might be found to be in any combination with them or even between them.

Phrase Match Keywords-

With phrase matching, your keywords can be found together, but your keywords will have to be on either end of the phrase.

Exact Match Keywords-

This is the exact similar word your AdCopy is looking for! Thus, AdCopies and keywords should be relevantly correlated.

Campaign>AdGroup>Keywords & Ad Copy

The keywords and AdCopy need to be closely grouped together. The AdGroup is comprised in part by the AdCopy, thusly the keywords should be very well integrated with the copy. You’ll have four lines to make your case in the AdCopy area: Title, two lines of descriptive copy and URL.

Obviously, the object here is for the copy to grab the attention of passing eyeballs. The title should make readers pay notice, the AdCopy should hold their interest and get them engaged enough to click on your link. Be creative with the limited space you have here. You need to get people’s attention from the get-go here. Try doing something different than what everyone else does with their ads.
